Responsibilities: Performed routine and repetitive circulation desk procedures on Sierra Integrated Library System such as checking in and out library materials. Prepared library materials for use and returned library materials to proper locations according to the Dewey Decimal System. Registered new patrons into the library system, collected fines, and handled transactions of withdrawn book materials. Assisted library patrons in person, via phone for incoming calls and queries. Aided patrons with use of technologies such as computers, the internet, copier and fax machines. Provided excellent customer service to all age groups, gender, race and ethnicity including individuals who are impaired and with disabilities. I also taught painting, drawing, and collages quarterly (Summer 2016, Spring 2016, Winter 2015, and Fall 2015) to young patrons who came to the Dayton’s Bluff Library, and performed other duties and responsibilities as assigned and required.
