Xai S. Lor is a contemporary artist, working primarily in painting, and drawing. Born in Thailand as a refugee, Xai emigrated to the United States at a young age. He is a member of the Hmong-American community in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor's of Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. His artwork has been exhibited at the Le Méridien Chambers in Minneapolis, Katherine E. Nash Gallery at the Regis Center for Art; the Board of Regents Office in the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities; Art 4 Shelter Exhibitions at the Burnet Gallery; Fox Gallery, the Great Hinckley Fire Museum in Hinckley, Minnesota, Myers Art Gallery, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and North Dakota Museum of Art.
